Maker Friday! A Black-Friday Alternative

Set aside the shopping and spend a day making something real.
Come by the studio on November 28, December 5, or December 12, anytime between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Stay for a short while or spend the whole day. This is slow, creative time.

Instead of searching for the perfect gift, you can create one with your own hands. I’ll have examples and project ideas ready if you’re not sure where to begin. Once you sink your hands into clay, it has a way of showing you where to go.

You might make ornaments, small bowls, cups, bells, vases, candle holders, or something unexpected that appears as you work. If you get stuck, I’ll help you figure out structure, form, and how to build it so it holds up in the kiln.

Your pieces will need to be fired twice. The last day to pick up finished work is December 17.

Cost: $60 plus the cost of clay. Pay at the studio.
