FEBRUARY 2026 FRIDAY NIGHT CLAY DATES
A four-hour creative experience rooted in presence, play, and human curiosity.
Clay Date is an open, gently guided studio gathering where you come exactly as you are. You arrive, roll up your sleeves, and let your hands begin a conversation with the clay. There is no right way to work here. Your process leads. Your curiosity sets the pace.
We use clay as a way of listening. As you press, pull, smooth, and shape, something inside often finds expression too. Thoughts soften. Attention drops into the body. A form begins to emerge that reflects what is alive for you in this moment.
This is expressive arts at Studio Emaho. The focus lives in the experience itself. Making becomes a way of meeting yourself with openness and interest.
What the Evening Holds
We start with a short grounding practice to help you arrive fully in your body and the space. From there, I offer gentle prompts that invite reflection and exploration. You choose what resonates and follow your own creative thread.
You’ll have four hours of spacious studio time. Work slowly or dive in. Sit quietly or chat with others. Move between focus and rest. I’m available for technical clay support and creative guidance whenever you want it.
You leave with clay on your hands, a sense of connection, and a piece that carries your presence.
The Studio Emaho Experience
This studio centers relationship.
Relationship to your body.
To your inner world.
To the material.
To the world around you.
Emaho means a sense of wonder. Here, openness and curiosity are valued. Slowness is invited. Intuition is trusted. Imperfection is honored. Unexpected turns are welcomed. Your work, in whatever form it takes, reflects your lived and emerging experience.
Open Studio Energy
Clay Date offers spacious open studio time with a soulful container. You’re free to explore any form that calls to you. Vessels, bowls, sculptural shapes, symbols, playful experiments, quiet studies.
I provide demonstrations when helpful, technical support throughout, and steady encouragement as you explore. The atmosphere is relaxed, warm, and grounded.
